Features of the Jewish Family Festival 2017
The Great Jewish Family Festival gathers all communities, synagogues, & schools together for a day of unity. It is a fun and exciting as well as inspirational experience for all participants. The festival consists of several major components:
2:00 pm - Fair opens
4:00 pm - Parade and Show (rides are closed from 4:00-4:30)
6:00 pm - Bonfire with Music by HARDCHARLiE
Featuring Chicago Boyz Acrobatic Team
Amazing acrobatic stunts and tricks inside twirling jump ropes, catapulting off mini trampolines and thundering tumbling routines with impeccable timing. Their shows thrill audience goers nationwide and around the world!
Live in Concert
HARDCHARLiE brings new talent to both the hip hop and acoustic emo genres, composing his music with a delicious blend of heart, head, and gut.
Get ready for some great new Jewish rap!

This year's fair will include rides for all members of the family from toddler to Mom and Dad. The festival will be split into different age appropriate "zones"; Toddler Zone, Little Kid Zone, Big Kid Zone, Tweens, Teens, and Adults. It's up to you to decide where to go!
Locate the Entertainment Zone geared for your age group and participate in activities like the high-flying Bungee Jump, braving the Raceway, or the classic fun of Paddle Boats!
There will be activities, roving entertainment, and more. If you need a break, take a seat near the stage and enjoy an eclectic array of NON-STOP performances!
Try out Lag B'omer on another plane this year, with a fabulous and fascinating virtual reality experience by EventHorizonVR. Play hard and have fun!

Do you usually spend big for food at festivals? Not here! The Great Jewish Family Festival offers a full meal with every wristband purchase. Food options will include ALL YOU CAN EAT hot dogs, burgers, corn, pickles, watermelon, water, soft drinks and more. Concession stands will include carnival favorites such as cotton candy and popcorn. The food court will remain open throughout the entire festival and bonfire.
Whenever Lag B'Omer is on Sunday, GJFF makes a special Unity Parade that brings together Jewish children from throughout the community for a unique show of Jewish pride.
The festival Grand Finale will feature a spectacular Lag B'Omer bonfire! Sit around the fire, sing along, and enjoy the warmth and light a of traditional Lag B'Omer bonfire experience.
